ABOVE & BEYOND DESIGNS

At Above and Beyond Designs we strive to bring the extradorinary to every event we have the honor to be a part of.  My name is Kayla and with my husband, Kyle, we specialize in floral and creative design.  I am a full time graphic designer and in my spare time run our business with the assistance of my husband.  Although, before I go further about our business let me first share our story and where our passion for floral and design comes from.

We first met when we were a junior and senior in high school at our church's youth group.  We then dated 7 years, with 5 years being long distant while in college, before we finally said our I do's.  Looking back, long distance was easily one of the hardest hurdles we had to overcome, but it was also one of the greatest blessings on our relationship.  Dating long distance taught us how we must first and foremost give everything to God.  Without our faith rooted in him there is no chance we would have made it through some very difficult and trying times.  For he continued to show his incredible power and mercy over our life with the constant reminder that it wasn't about us, but instead about growing together in Him and giving God the glory.  Long distance dating also allowed us to yes continue to grow closer together but gave us the opportunities to have our own college experiences that I know we will always cherish.  It was during our college years that we discovered a few of our God give talents which crazy enough both lie within the same realm but yet completely separate.  I discovered my love for graphic design and for Kyle it is the love of woodworking and innovative thinking.  Fast forward to a few years ago we decided to turn our passion into a design business centered around glorifying God through our talents.

Through Above and Beyond Designs we are primarily a florist for wedding and special events, but also offer custom woodwork at request.  We combine our talents to be able to offer a wide range of resources for your special day from floral arrangement to  ​custom wood creations.
